Did you ever had a feeling to meet the scammer in person and ask him politely about why he did what he did?
It feels so sad that people like bezopravin exists in the world. Feels even more sad that we can do anything about it. I respect your courage and patience. I would have gone mad by now if I were you.

It’s good to see your philosophical approach to it, and like others have said, Bezo has missed out on what would surely have been a huge opportunity.
It’s a testament to bhw as well that several members went to so much effort trying to get the money back, even if it wasn’t successful.
Anyway, Bezo, if you’re reading this, it’s still not too late to make amends for this situation and even make a start in paying back what you owe.

Probably to scam more people. Who knows. Regardless, after reading the entire thread, I'm pretty impressed by your outlook, as well as the general response of the community.
I honestly do wonder, were the guy to make amends, and pay back what he stole, would you forgive him BTB? It honestly is a little hard for me to fathom, as 6.5k is quite a solid bit of money to be stolen.

No, I don't know much about you BTB. I've been a lurker for a while in BHW, but not actively involved until the past few months. Hence the question. But you do seem like an upstanding dude, so good on you.
Money is not everything, but I'll be honest, I'd have a hard time swallowing that big of a hit.

Can't believe how people can even get a goodnight's sleep when they know they have borrowed someone else's money... I remember during my college days I had this bad habit of borrowing money...$2-$20 but I also did not get good sleep unless and until I return back the money, I still remember those days borrowing money to eat samosas outside College...mom used to give me $10 monthly pocket money 
..it was as if I had taken admission specially for eating outside lol
I remember having a chat on Skype with Bezo somewhere in 2011 regarding CPA accounts JV lol...that time people used to run CPA accounts for a 20-30% commission to the JV partner...glad he rejected the proposal..sadly the guy who was going to run the accounts is also banned @GreenGoblin I am sure many people remember that username...
