bEWARE OF HOSTICAN! DON'T BUY WITH THEM!

    I bought a dedicated server with hostican Before 10 days.
    What i ordered was
    Intel Xeon Processor
    12 GB ram
    100mbps port
    5 free ips
    1 TB harddisk
    What i got was
    Intel Dual Core(The age old processor)
    8 GB ram
    When i asked them abt this issue, They said they haven?t got motherboard that suits the 12 GB ram. So, they?ve to leave it to 8GB! What the shit. Then why they?re selling packages?
    K, I waited! For 4 days. Each day when i send a mail they say, Still we?re working on it! Now for the 5th day when I?m asking them they still say we?re expecting the hardware to arrive soon ! Damn!
    Now, I just found another thing while checking some specs. The processor was the damn shit Dual core processor, But i paid for the super costly Xeon Processor! Damn, When i asked abt it, They say we had no stock so we have to put this up for you!
    This is pure cheating! Moreover their live chat is a shit. Youll never find anyone!there.
    When you ask for some help, all they say is we will not be able to help with this and that!
    You receive absolutely no help from them even via mail. Their live support is dead. All they give is reasons!

    I spent more than 2 hrs per day sending them mails, and all the shit!
    It?s totally a waste of time and money. Beware guys. Dont fall into their traps



    i KNOW MANY PEOPLE HERE BUY HOSTING FOR THEIR BLOGS AND OTHER WORKS, JUST I WANTED YOU GUYS TO BE ON THE SAFER SIDE. IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING THEM, IMMEDIATELY QUIT AND SAVE YOURSELF!

    Sorry to hear about your problems and thanks for the warning. Sounds like you got screwed out of money and time. You're right, why would they advertise equipment/service they don't have.

    Did you request a refund? If not then you should do a charge back or dispute, depending on your payment method.

    I used them once but then moved to liquidweb host. It's my best decision.
    It took hostican forever to answer my support emails, mostly they came back with the answer that they didn't support my issues for free, they charged me to pay $75/hour to solve it. The live chat is never live.

    Liquid web host might look expensive, but it's really worth it.

    Yep, i requested a refund with them!
    But the thing I lost my time and energy which can't be regained. Bcoz of that most of my works have got delayed!
    Atleast you guys save your ass:)

    Exactly same!

    I just asked for a little help, and they asked me for $150 for the installation fee! Thats damn! Hostgator's are 1000 times better, with their live support.

    Hosticans live support is a dead man's chest!
