I recently encountered this malware when a customer of mine decided to pay via crypto, but whenever he copied the wallet address to pay to, it was switched to a very similar one and he didn't notice.

"A new clipboard stealer called Laplas Clipper spotted in the wild is using cryptocurrency wallet addresses that look like the address of the victim's intended recipient."

This is not a *new* issue, it has been an issue since 2016 at least, but apparently there's been an increase of this kind of malwares recently.
Remember to double check every time you withdraw crypto.

Here’s how to keep crypto safe from clipboard hijacking

well economic situatuion is not good, a lot people do "whatever it need" to survive.
lately more and more new malware launch

Mostly these extensions are Chrome sourced.

Try to using clean Chrome or any browser.

There are lots of malware that hijack copy/paste in desktops (laptops) and mobile devices. Do not ever install anything from a 3rd party source. Never trust some APK file that you see in some website or some APK file anyone sends to you. These untrusted APK files are often malware.

This is a very old and known virus, it happened to me when I installed some cracked software. You copy a bitcoin address, and they change that address to their own. Always double check the first 3 symbols and the last 3 symbols of the bitcoin address before sending money.
