Just this morning, about 4 hours earlier today, I inserted a cpal34d content locker for my 4 year old personal blog made from blogger. I tweaked a lot of things which includes content locking on selected posts only.

The content locker worked perfectly and I was thinking it's time to bag some money. (I had adsense ads removed from it and replaced with cpa ads).

Then after taking a lunch, I tried to check if the locker is working and.... i was a shocked to see "BLOG HAS BEEN DELETED" in front of my face!

Whew.. that was just moments after I installed the content locker! Gee... I just busted my little blog that earns me at least a dollar a day from adsense... And they sent me a reason why my blog has been deleted. It is because of "SPAMMING". This is total shit... My blog has been online for almost four years now.

I am not saying that you should stay away from using a content locker and blogger blog.. This is just a warning from a guy who lost a blog and a small $ daily earning --- few hours after installing a content locker.

FUCK GOOGLE!

You really floored me and has kicked my balls really bad... and do you think you've won with your anti-spam campaign? Hell no! My blog is not a spam blog and many other sites are even copying my contents.

Ok.. enough of the drama.. I guess I should go blackhat full time...

You were really lucky to have your blog last 4 years.
Blogger and any free blog can delete your account whenever they want.
Since you were making money, why not get a hosted blog and go from there.

Yeah they auto detect content lockers and delete the blogs, they've done this for awhile now. Email them and ask if they'll undelete it, say you didn't know they didn't allow content lockers. No harm in trying.

I believe the OP knows very well that buying domains and hosting is possible and better solution. Why do we always feel the need to teach the obvious? :)

He was just warning us in case by any chance we have a blogger and want to add a content locker.

This may happen even to experienced IMs as most of us may have started with a free blog and since it may have some good traffic we might be tempted to monetize with content locking.

Content locking is against their TOS so be careful sooner or later they will ban yr acc

I myself never used a free blogging setup. Why would I when there are tons of opps. out there to host your own site on a private hosting company for a buck a month or whatever?

People, if you are serious about IM, don't even consider a free blogging platform as your backdrop.

As I wrote earlier, you might not start by being serious from day 1.
Before being serious about anything, most of us start being noobs.

Don't rely on Google and anything that is free when it comes to online business.. and join multiple CPA networks and create multiple sources of income..

Hello guys.. I am aware of blogs that can be deleted at their will. It's just a warning for everybody specially for peeps who are yet starting. I am now using domains + free hosting.

However, free hosting is limited. I am going to get a paid hosting once I'll be paid by the CPA network which I am in.

For people without much funds like me:

1. get a domain from namecheap (some domains are less than $4)
2. get an account from awardspace or similar
3. setup wordpress
4. put articles and cpa links
5. advertise your site with adwords... I just got $97 from my $100 coupon.. Don't say I am having poor conversion.. don't blame me.. advertisers shave hard..

happens to me too, but in my case its adscendmedia's content locker. after i have set it up then publish it. i get back to my blogger as i have forgot to add something (under 5 mins time), my blog (1 year 3months age) is deleted right away. :( i guess blogger never did like content lockers.

Yup indeed.. google is hitting too hard on us.. but we can and will always make a way. :-)

I'm like having an experiment now.. Planning to build hundreds of disposable sites... But for a moment.. I'm yet playing with three sites.. So far so good. :-)

u are kind of late to know that blogger only allows adsense and not cpa ads. sucks for u, but im sure u can restore tho

they deleted disabled my blog too,but after one month it working again :) they re-enabled it idk the reason... (i have 6+ blogs on that account and all was disabled)

So what exactly is content locking? I'm just starting with blog IM (using blogger), but that's where I currently see my best opportunity to put a foot forward. I'm debating all the options, but I was planning on going with some sort of CPA option. I'll try to familiarize myself with Blogger's terms better, as that's just where I decided to have my jumping point from.

So does Blogger not allow CPA at all, or just with content locking? I plan on getting a domain and having it hosted... even if I hardly make money I wouldn't have an issue paying a few bucks a month to have full opportunity to utilize my site and learn more, but for now I'd like to get comfortable using Blogger. I'll move immediately if CPA is explicitly not allowed, as that's where I'm kinda seeing myself headed with the content I have. Well, more specifically CPS, but that is kinda bundled with CPA as far as I know.
