Thanks for this one. I think it's an odd report and it might just work. But the claims being made about matches getting sold is just not true. It may happen sometimes, but feds would be all over this kind of stuff. Football clubs are risking to get set back to lower divisions. Then they lose just about everything, players will go, sponsors contracts are gone, fans will stay away, merchandise won't be sold, etc, etc. It's one big chain of events that takes years to recover. And that's not even talking about the risks betting companies are taking, according to the report.
In football losing on purpose isn't hard. But these people earn millions a year already, why would they accept losing a match on purpose for a couple extra bucks. Ok, a few would probably fall for it, but the whole team over and over again?
The last thing that I think is questionable about this report is the goal scoring part. The whole game is about scoring goals, if you let someone score an easy goal, it will be obvious. If you are not trying to score a goal, it's going to be obvious.
Unless your an expert in football, I wouldn't waste my time/money on this.
