I've been posting on craigslist and backpage in my local city for the past year. I must say that I've been getting a lot of good service calls and have made a decent amount of money. However, being that the summer have started, the calls have started dropping to absolutely none! I assume it will get better around school time and winter when people are inside more, but I'd like some advice.

Where else should I advertise? I thought about running a google adwords campaign as well as get some facebook ads, but I'm not sure how many people actually participates in ads on google/fb. Is it worth starting this off with a low budget?

I personally feel as though my CL advertisement is better than everyone else's as they just seem like they're looking for a quick buck with no certifications like I do, no creative and professional website like I do, less experience and charging more.

I thought about posting flyers by some red lights, but who can I get in touch with to make sure this is legal and my sign won't get trashed by the garbage company? I have business cards that I give to my clients and have got some word of mouth, but as I said, it's really been slowing down lately and I'd just like to pick up again on my side income.

Also, the work that I do is all IT. Hope I didn't post in the wrong forum.. Thanks for any help. I'd also like to mention that the site that I advertise is not the one I'm trying to do SEO with - its all static joomla content with prices, services, etc. I actually have a blog that I'm working on (which is completely separate from my question and point).

do a google search for "online guerrilla marketing" and "offline guerrilla marketing"

study and implement hundreds of those techniques and you'll have to hire some help to handle all the business.

Thanks for that. I actually searched it.

Got suspended from Yahoo answers although all my posts were relevant to the question. Got best answer for about 90% of the answers I supplied answers to, but they consider it spam having my link in every answer, lol.
