Better than CPA surveys...?

I know a lot of people here are content locking and getting paid when their visitors fill out a CPA survey. I'm doing that too. But my question for you is....is there something else we can ask our visitors to do, using the content locker idea, that would get us paid? Something easier/newer that people haven't seen before and won't be so privy too.

What I'm saying is that...website visitors don't want to fill out these shitty surveys. They've become so averse to them, that once they sniff out an upcoming survey, they just leave the website. Even with a high, indemand - fake or real download, sooo many people know it's probably BS and leave the page because they've been tricked before and lied to. And this is unfortunate, because if you do have a legitimate, awesome download that you want to give away in exchange for a survey response, people are just going to say "noo..fuck this..probably fake..".

The public doesn't want to do email submits/surveys (because these email submits don't convert on simply attaining the email...your visitor has to fill out at least a page or 2 of the following survey..but regardless..people are over it).

To rephrase my question....what else can we get visitors to do for our content that will get us paid?

I agree, you could offer your clients some alternatives like pay2download links (phone, Sms) as an alternative on CPA, beside that you could combine it.

I don't really know actually, high competition market, low turnover for the general users of these CPA network users.

edit: i have the idea that you need something really, really special to download before someone is going to fill in that crap surveys.

Yea, totally. I think having them download something is better than a survey. I know CPA networks give offers that ask the user to download. Maybe i should switch my locker to just offer downloads?
