Im running ads for a couple local service area businesses. I have a radius set up of their service area, with a mix of upper, middle, and lower class. We have a low budget or $15 per day. I understand you get out of what you put in and im not expecting 5 leads a day. Im not sure how to put this, but a lot of the leads im getting are from people whos names sound like they' re in a 3rd world country.

Everyone is on Facebook, even if its one lead per day, why am I not attracting the average middle class person at the least?

if your Leads are Coming from different Areas not from the areas which you are targeting, then above the location targeting section you will find few settings (peoples who are interested in your location and present in, turn it to peoples who are present in your location, ) and try your ads once again with different audience, Objectives, creatives, and CTA buttons. this might work, well for me it does.

If your are targeting particular audience or location then align and adjust your intended demographics by refining your target audience and focus on detailed targeting if your audience is large.

You might be attracting lower quality leads due to broad targeting or mismatched demographics, so refining your audience with more specific interests, behaviors or income brackets could help focus on the middleclass individuals you're aiming for.

It sounds like your targeting might need to be refined try narrowing the audience more specifically by interests, behavior or even income level to reach that middleclass demographic you're after.

Your targeting might be too wide try narrowing it down more to hit the right local crowd and adjust the messaging to appeal to them

You might be attracting irrelevant leads due to Facebook's automatic targeting features, which sometimes prioritize lower-cost clicks over audience relevance, leading to less qualified leads

The more specific and detailed your goals are, the more potential customers you will get.

You might need to adjust your targeting to zero in on local middle-class folks more.

You might just need to narrow your targeting a bit to reach the right crowd!

You might be targeting too broad of an audience, which can pull in lower-quality leads. Try narrowing your targeting to specific interests, behaviors, and demographics that align more closely with your ideal customer.

The messaging and visuals in your ads should resonate with your target audience. If the content is not relevant to your audience, they may not engage

Maybe try narrowing your audience a bit, focusing more on local interests and behaviors could help you attract the right crowd!

Poor lead quality usually comes from overly broad FB targeting. Tightening the audience by layering interests/behaviors and excluding low-value segments can help. What often works for middle-class leads is combining demographic filters with intent-based interests (e.g., relevant purchase behaviors). Also worth testing narrower lookalike ranges (1–2%) if you have enough source data.

sometimes broad targeting ends up pulling in lower-quality leads. Narrowing down interests or demographic filters has helped me reach more middle-income users in similar campaigns. Might be something worth testing depending on your niche.

With a $15/day budget, Facebook’s algorithm will optimize for the cheapest leads, not necessarily the best quality. Lead forms also tend to attract low-intent users because they’re very easy to submit.

You might try narrowing the targeting, using conversion campaigns instead of instant forms, or adding more qualifying questions to filter better leads.

You might need to refine your targeting by focusing on age, interests, and behaviors. Use advanced location targeting and exclude irrelevant regions. Test different creatives and adjust your ad copy to appeal to your ideal demographic.
