Better phone = more views?

Not true at all. I got my iPhone 14 Pro Max last December and my views declined from the previous year.
 
Absolutely false, I have got most views with the oldest phone, i mean you can test it to prove but in my opinion its not worth the time
 
It may be because of old phones (mostly androids) have less screen resolution, respectively uploaded videos get less quality => less views

That makes no sense and it isn't true.
 
I think this is gossip only. A phone can't be the reason of views in my point of view.
 
I don't think there's any relation between that. It all depends on your content and the time you post it
 
No relation but I am inclined to believe there is a relation between iPhone and Android

Not sure though as I don’t have an Android
 
Your phone model doesn't have any real bearing on your reach or success in terms of views. That's mostly your content's consequence. Whatever pattern you notice may highly likely be correlation rather than anything else.
 
This information is incorrect. Video content and quality decide. If you say the new phone has better image quality, I agree :D
 
On TikTok you can select which kinds of phones you want to promote to, by price. But that's all there is to it, your own phone shouldn't make a difference when posting.

from my experience, not true. content matters and tiktok will decide based on data such as retention rate.
im always using xiaomi phones and some of my video got 8 mil views

Idk for iphones but for android I don't think so, in my experience.. but new phones are faster of course
