Better Image Posting - Free WordPress plugin by OriginalEXE

I am opening a new thread to share with you plugin I have recently coded.

Many of you have image posting WordPress websites and it can be pain in the ass to post a simple image. That's why I coded this plugin to provide simple interface for posting images.

Features: Set post title, category, tags. Insert image from url, fetch image from url (store on server), upload image from pc. You have option to insert image and to set it as featured (you can do both, or just one).

How to use: Download the plugin from the link below, install it, go to Better Image Posting menu (bottom) and start posting.

Please report any errors you find so I can fix them. I hope you will find it useful.

You miss the point. I did not invent something here, I just made it simple.

If you would go posting image the normal way, you will have many unnecessary clicks, this plugin saves your time.

this is great, added the featured image button in. this will be one of my go too apps. hope other people realize how easy and simple this process now is. takes me 20 seconds less to upload an image than before . great plugin

Thanks for this useful plugin ! Also, I really do appreciate all the assist that you have so freely given and shared with the BHW community. Dare I say: a legend being formed.

Do you have any plans to expand on the functions or capabilities of this plugin, or a premium version? ATM, I do not have $ to hire you: your services are definitely on the 'lets do this SOONER' list

Just to give a _start_ of what I am thinking about, and obviously this could be done in stages:

In the example there is the main photo, and multiple thumbnails that enlarge into an overlay. From your plugin I have the idea that all this could be accomplished from the one plugin control panel, including such options as captions, alternative enlargement displays such as zoom-outs, etc.

Of course, there may be plugins that do similar, and parts of this are available in a theme or two.

Oh, and while I am suggesting the moon: a 'snapshot' of each customization, so that it can be duplicated with 1 button on another website, with the same plugin installed: OR, on the same website for adding/deleting pix or changing captions etc ??
