Hello, this is my first post on this forum and I am a new user, so please excuse my newbishness. I've been using the referral scheme offered by Betfair (UK gambling site) for a few weeks, so after signing up most of my friends I'm looking to share it with more and more people. NB, this scheme is only on offer for users aged 18 or over, resident in the UK, and new to Betfair.

You can easily check up the info yourself by googling "betfair refer", but I'll go over the basic points in this post:
    • If people sign-up using my referral code (AMX63H6PE), they get a £25 bonus added to their account.
    • This extra £25 can be withdrawn to PayPal or direct to bank etc.

To get this bonus, you have to wager £25 in sports bet with odds greater than 1.2 (they list all the bets with these coefficients). This also of course requires you to deposit £25 via usual means. Once that's done, you can simply place a £25 bet then when it wins, you get at least £5 profit of that and then another £25 from the bonus. Total profit of £30+. This isn't perhaps the best way about it. The best advice is to place lots of small bets (£2.00 each), totalling £25 instead, since there's a 17% of you losing the one big bet and making £0 profit.

Additionally, you can refer your own friend with your own code and get a £25 risk-free bet per person referred. They've only just changed it, since I used to get a £25 bonus per person and not this stupid "£25 risk-free bet", but it's still a decent incentive.

If your referral makes profit, than you loose money in your affiliate balance? 30% of his profit or 100%?

I am promoting some bookies as well, balance constantly goes up and down.

I personally use BET365 for playing, I signed up through affiliate link that was posted by local spammer on some forum some time ago. Last year I deposited 15$ to BET365 account. In 4 months of playing daily, I withdrew 5k$. I feel sorry for the guy now :)

With the old system, which I referred many people with, it was a simple £25 bonus, which I received to my account; independent of my affiliate's profit/loss. Now it appears as though you get a £25 risk-free bet. I think this means that if I bet £25 and it loses, I still get my £25 back, but if it wins I get to keep the profit. Hope that helps.
