Hi,

Im building a site with some (hopefully) useful tools for Tumblr. So far Ive only completed the Queue Deleter which will delete your entire queue for you in one go if you say made some bad mistake like click through URL being wrong etc.

Im looking for feedback from yourselves on its usefulness and also looking for suggestions for the next tool to add to the site ?

Im considering making a queue uploader that holds your queue on the site allowing you to get around the 300 limit.

Any thoughts ?

At the moment Im concentrating on useful things to do with the Tumblr API, I think what your looking for is done by scraping google with scrapebox but I don't really know how to go about it sorry.

I would love to hear some suggestions on what features you all would like in a queue uploader. ?

This is along over due feature/tool for sure.

Do you think it's really wise to try and upload more than 300 images? (although I've personally done it before)
Seems like accounts like these will come under the radar, especially if all of a sudden more and more accounts start uploading more images than the so-called limit.

I think it's a bit risky. At best, keep a tool like this private.

I was thinking about holding the full queue at tumtoolz.com and only drip feeding to the actual tumblr queue. For example, lets say you upload 2000 posts to tumtoolz, each day tumtoolz checks your actual tumblr queue and if its say below 50 then it automatically takes 50 posts from your 2000 queue and tops up your tumblr queue with them.

this way at a post rate of 50/day, you could upload 2000 posts and would not need to touch your account for 40 days :)

Just an idea, but I'm open to any suggestions.
 
The Guv I knew was making a 200-500+ accounts daily all automated :cool:

As far as adding 2000 posts to the queue i would not try that with an old account for sure, only new accounts i didn't have as much invested in.

By the way did you know the site is down?

Hi BigMamas, Yes I am the same Guv you know so well haha.

I think you are either missing the point or I am not explaining the queue idea properly. Tumblr will never see more than 50-100 posts in you queue. Tumtoolz holds the 2000 posts and just drip feeds tumblr.

I know the site is down for a while while Im making some changes.

Other functions nice to see: a follower, liker, rebloger, account creator? :)

Thanks for the ideas, i could easily do a follower,liker,reblogger but an account creator would not be feasible as tumblr seems really choosy about IP's used to create accounts, I'm not even sure wether the best proxies are able to be used to create accounts these days.

If I do a follower function, how would you like to see it working ? say for example, a user enters up to 10 keywords and a maximum follows per day of say 50, and tumtoolz just automatically follows users who tag using the keywords automatically every day ?
