It depends on the niche but I use Gonzo from Themeforest on many of mine.

Personally, I'd look at Joomla instead. It will make you stand out from the hordes of WP sites. Even simple HTML, imho, is better nowadays than WP...

Wordpress works out of the box, but is prone to hacker attacks.
Joomla must be well configured, or it will be slow as a donkey.

Wordpress is the best as we all know..and i don't agree with bartosimpsonio you just need to configure it to be safe from hackers..and it's the best cms available there which allows you to be safe from hackers..
and i will say Go for Genesis
Customize it as you like & yeah it's already SEO Friendly..
