Best WP Template + plugin for a EMD new site

Hey Guys,
after years of work on my clients' sites and expanding my SEO business I never really tested in deploying micro niche/product specific sites. I plan on doing this right now and came across a nice 3 word key phrase as a result of my research.

It has 1300 exact match global searches / 700 local searches and I already bought the .ORG EMD domain for the term. The average CPC for this phrase is $6.

I am planning to install WP with some professional content on it.

Questions are:

- Which template do you think does best in terms of On-page, and which plugins do you utilize to enhance the SEO of the site
- What monetization do you think is best. CJ, Amazon or Adsense?

IMO you probably won't see more than $1 a day with adsense unless you get one of the top 3 spots on google, depending on the search term it might be worth going with amazon or CJ.

Thanks, so I assumed. I know Amazon has a pretty low commission % opposed to CJ, which is why I always questioned why people prefer them so much?

I think I will stick with CJ.

Because people trust buying stuff from Amazon, it's also a common place people buy from so there's also a chance they could go back a few hours later, purchase something and given the session is still in tact it will still give you the commission.

I really like Socrates personally and have had great results with it. The functionality is awesome IMO. Another really good one that i have used with success is Thesis.

I've gotten to where I custom code almost everything to cut down on page size and just because it's easier. But, if I had to choose a framework to work in, I'd say Thesis is still pretty good. Also, it finally has some pretty attractive child themes to choose from, too.
