Hi guys. Could I get some suggestions for a good / the best SEO plugin for a new wordpress blog I just put up please.

Most likely, you will get about a 50/50 split of suggestions on the above two mentioned plugins. They are both excellent. I have used them both and you can't go wrong with either one. They both probably have more features than you will ever think about using.

One thing worth noting about All-in-One is that every time you upgrade it, you have to reactivate it.

One other note about SEO plugins is that you should look at whatever theme you are using as well. Many of the newer (better) ones are including a lot of the SEO functions in them so that you don't need an additional SEO plugin.

I use either platinum SEO or all-in-one... They do basically the same thing.

Someone once gave me a screen shot of the optimal platinum seo pack options.

All In One SEO. Additionally, I use the premium Headway theme which has very good SEO built in and good for designing almost any layout you desire.

all in one seo is still king. I have been using this for years in hundreds of wp sites. I have tried all the others and always end up back with all in one seo.

I just started using the same theme in a couple sites. The flexibility is nice. I plan on using this one across the board for my top tier wp sites. You can make a good looking design in minutes and the seo is good. Has its own seo functions or you can disable them to use another. I have them disabled and run all in one.
