Headspace 2 is raved about, but I had an issue with it a few times where my custom titles and descriptions just didn't "take". There was probably conflicting settings in my plugins or something.
So I use All-In-One-SEO - Rocks.

I may have come to the wrong conclusions with my tests but H2S was the second best solution in a test on 6 different blogs.
Best results where achieved without using any SEO plug in.

All-in-One-SEO for me as well, haven't really found anything that's simple to use and does the job.
I expect there are several others which are the paid variety and maybe give better results but I just don't have the time to mess about with these.
Keeping things as simple as possible is the best way to go.

I too think Jeff Johnson's wp plugin works the best. If you can buy the pro version of the plugin.

TAC stands for Theme Authenticity Checker. Currently, TAC searches the source files of every installed theme for signs of malicious code. If such code is found, TAC displays the path to the theme file, the line number, and a small snippet of the suspect code. As of v1.3 TAC also searches for and displays static links.
Then what do you do? Just because the code is there doesn't mean it's not supposed to be or even qualifies as a threat, but most theme authors don't include code outside of the Wordpress scope and have no reason to obfuscate the code they make freely available to the web. We recommend contacting the theme author with the code that the script finds, as well as where you downloaded the theme.
The real value of this plugin is that you can quickly determine where code cleanup is needed in order to enjoy your theme.
History
TAC got its start when we repeatedly found obfuscated malicious code in free Wordpress themes available throughout the web. A quick way to scan a theme for undesirable code was needed, so we put together this plugin.
After Googling and exploring on our own we came upon the article by Derek from 5thiryOne regarding this very subject. The deal is that many 3rd party websites are providing free Wordpress themes with encoded script slipped in - some even going as far as to claim that decoding the gibberish constitutes breaking copyright law. The encoded script may contain a variety of undesirable payloads, such as promoting third party sites or even hijack attempts.

What if I find something?
Contact the theme's original author to double check if that section of code is supposed to be in the theme in the first place - chances are it shouldn't as there isn't a logical reason have obfuscated code in a theme.
If something is malicious or simply unwanted, TAC tells you what file to edit, you can even just click on the file path to be taken straight to the WordPress Theme Editor.
Why does TAC list static links?
First of all, static links aren't necessarily bad, TAC just lists them so you can quickly see where your theme is linking to.

This Wordpress plugin will ad forum capability to your Wordpress installation.
For people claiming i have stole the WP-Plugin, i have made no claim that i made it. Anywhere this plugin is posted it states who the original author is. This is much more than the WP-Forum plugin. I have fixed many errors that existed for months on Wp-Forums. I added a new theme. Added 2.7/2.8 menus fr a much more up to date look. Change a bit of the code around. This is NOT a plugin i just renamed the files to and called it my own i assure you. If you don't believe this download Wp-Forums, then download my plugin and see for yourself.
Install
1: Upload the plugin folder to your Wordpress plugins directory.
2: Activate the plugin.
3: Make a new page to place your forum into. Make sure you have it on the "HTML" editor. Place <!--VASTHTML--> inside the new page.
4: If you want to show your latest activity open your Wordpress template file of your choosing and insert <?php latest_activity(numbers_to_show);?>. Replace "numbers_to_show" with how many posts you want to show.
5: First thing you want to do is choose a skin for your forum. When you first activate your forum there is no skin active so it will not look or perform correctly. Click on the "Forum Server" menu on the left side of your Wordpress admin panel.
6: Choose what skin you like and click "Activate" on the right side.
7: The next step is to add your forum categories. Click "Categories & Forums" inside the "Forum Server" menu.
8: Click "Add New" at the top of the page and Type the name and a optional description for your category. Click "Add category" to add it to your list.
9: No after it returns you to the "Categories & Forums" main page you will see your new category on the list. Now you must add forums to your your category. If you do not add a forum the plugin will not work. There will be nowhere to make a new post if you do not do this step.
10: On the bottom right of your category list you will see the "Add forum" button. Click this to add your forum to that category.
11: Type the name and a optional description for your forum and click "Save forum".
12: Congratulations you have now got your forum ready to use. Remember this plugin is meant to be a simple and easy solution. It does not have the million dollar features of some other plugin but, this is far more easier and simpler to use.

if you use more general domain name for your blog (say broad niche) then I suggest using the following plugins for SEO purposes:
1. All in One SEO Professional
2. SEO Booster Pro
3. SEO Pressor
4. s-category permalink
if you already have a domain name matching your micro niche, then the first 3 plugins would do.

Sorry, I meant "gocodes". Seems it has similar functions as far as affiliate link masking and keyword to url matching.
gocodes functionality is for cloaking affiliate links using only one gocode key, such as /recommends, /visit, /go etc., For different affiliate links u can use different keywords of course from the gocode
for example.
youraffiliateurl1= yourdomain/visit/youraffiliatelandingpage1
youraffiliateurl2= yourdomain/visit/youraffiliatelandingpage2
but you cannot use:
youraffiliateurl1= yourdomain/visit/youraffiliatelandingpage1
youraffiliateurl2= yourdomain/recommends/youraffiliatelandingpage2

I wanted to clarify the "change permalinks to /%postname%/ comments. Does the format need to be changed to "the url/%postname%/"? I'm assuming that I need to change enter this in the Custom field in the Permalinks setting page in WP.
Sorry for the basic question, I've just set up my first blog and although I have All-in-one-SEO installed, I didn't know about the /%postname%/ trick.

you can use permalink in these ways:
no need for including url in permalink settings in wp;
no need for slashes in the beginning or end.
