So I am using the serpent theme
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...s/562317-req-serpent-0-8-wordpress-theme.html

And the built in comment system makes let's you have 2 options. Have it so people can only comment when logged into Twitter, Facebook, G+ and systems of that sort, or have the default comment system, and make users input their email to comment (I had the option disabled, but the comment system is semi broken). Anyway, my website is all about begin free, and anonymous online. So I didn't like the forced email input option.

Right now I am using the Disqus plugin (yes, I know it has built in trackers), but I am not to fond of it. It seems very buggy at times, and requires a lot from users.

I see blogs with the genesis framework comment system and I love that, but as far as I know Genesis framework is a theme itself. I love the serpent theme though.

So, what is your favorite Wordpress comment system? Or what would you suggest for someone like me?

    Thanks :)

I use "SEO Facebook" plugin for my wordpress. You can set the width, and when we changed to it, the first month we noticed 90% increases on comments from the month prior. Highly recommend it.

I always go with the default WP comments. Tried disqus, intense debate and many others, but always end up coming back to the default system as it got better results (at least for my niches)

Either Disqus or JetPack! I use JetPack myself - you could always just remove the email field from the comment system so only a name (and captcha) is required?

CommentLuv is definitely an interesting option if you spend time posting on other CommentLuv-enabled blogs related to your niche. I haven't used that particular plugin in a while, it's still useful and relevant? It seemed like a lot of spam was taking over...

I know Facebook Comments seems pretty engaging. When I get to the bottom of an interesting thread and see my picture and a Facebook comment thread below, it's more tempting than usual to reply.
