yeah, those sites like ebaumsworld or spammy sites like that were popular eons ago. I don't know of any. maybe reddit. also check out or thechive basically a bunch of random ass articles of popular topics.
if you're looking for "scary stuff" for content on a website I have oodles of terribly graphic sites in mind lol...

If I wanted to waste more time on the internet. Personally I'd look for Facebook groups that are full of retards.
For example, the town in which I was born has a group. It's highly amusing reading the nonsense that comes from that group. A good reminder of why I left, and do not want to return. I had no idea how dumb people could get.

I do something similar, although for me it's looking up youtube videos tagged for my small hometown. Or, if I get bored with that I'll just look up some small town on google maps/wikipedia and look to see the youtube videos for that.
It's a lot less petty fights than you'd see on facebook, and a lot more methheads dicking around with their camera phone.
