iPage is part of the Endurance group, I would not call them "best web host today".

I've had a good experience with CrocWeb. They did have a problem with a DDOS attack a couple of days ago which resulted in a lot of downtime, but thats the only downtime I've experienced since I've been with them (close to a year I think). Plus they added 3 months of extended service to compensate for the downtime free of cost.

experience tell me the best ones are the ones not so popular

iPage? I agree, they are the best provider of unlimited bandwidth - instead limiting your bandwidth they limit your speed.

What is this supposed to be? lol It looks like a sales pitch, but then there's no affiliate link (which I'm sure wouldn't be allowed anyways).

There's no such thing as unlimited bandwidth :P People will get shutdown if they use too much. But they are a decent company if you plan on dealing with a smaller scaled website.

Agree there, I have been with them for a year, worst experience ever.

read my thread, i jumped out pretty fast

Bandwidth and Disk Usage. iPage provides Users with bandwidth, disk space and other resources, such as e-mail and/or file-transfer-protocol ("FTP") accounts, the amount of which is defined in iPage's web pages describing the package of Services purchased at the time of purchase. In some cases, iPage may not establish a specific amount of bandwidth, disk space and other resources, and refer to that as "Unlimited". In all cases, the Services are intended for normal use only, and any activity that results in excessive usage that is inconsistent with normal usage patterns is strictly prohibited. iPage reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or delete the accounts of Users whose use of disk space, bandwidth or other resources results in or presents the risk of degradation of service to other customers, regardless of the amount of disk space, bandwidth or other resources included in the User's plan. User agrees that such usage shall not exceed the amounts set by iPage for the Services purchased (the "Agreed Usage") and is additionally subject to normal usage guidelines established by iPage as in effect from time to time. These allotments are optimized and dedicated towards serving the Content and User's active electronic mail services related solely to User's web hosting account(s) with iPage.

The best hosts are a2hosting and readymakers. Using their service, you get quality services which are full-featured and have high uptime. Prices are modest and servers work like a clock.

I think we can not say iPage to good service. It has bad customer support. So think for other.

I Prefer try Many Hosting, I am currently using one BHW Users Hosting. That way I build Cheap Services and No worries about things. But I used Hostgator which was Good.

Ipage is under EIG group and no need to explain about EIG group. Management is not proper. I had my account with Hostgator but moved my hosting account with WebhostUK LTD and now I see a lot of people are facing downtime issues. I had a update last week from my friend and she just said that your decision was appropriate.
