Hi all

I need to create a website for the sale of my ebook, I have made one in WYSIWYG builder but the problem is that different browsers move the images and text around and make it look like a mess. I've tried all the advise on their forum with no results whatsoever (it actually seems a bit worse)

Does anybody know of any site building software that is
a - easy to use
b - creates pages that look the same no matter what browser or screen size the person is using
c - pref availble on here or another forum for download but would pay if there is no other option

Cheers

Adam

You can try CMS Builder. It is a cool one!
I hope it fits your needs

I would use Wordpress to do that kind of work. Especially now that some themes can make a wordpress site not look like a wordpress site.

Ive had success with sitespinner...easy to use and great support forum.

wordpress is god. looks great, extremely good to add content, the only bad part is the css.

It sometimes fucks up your formatting.

I like to use Dreamweaver to build my landing pages with. Always had a thing for adobe products.

wordpress is an option but its a security nightmare, drupal is a good choice but a hell of a learning curve, joomla is security hell as well

Dreamweaver is the best if you are experienced if not, try using Joomla or Wordpress

Dreamweaver is the best option, if you are familiar. Lynda.com has many tutorials, you can find them on warez forums. Joomla is a good option too

I work with Wordpress and Dreamweaver...definetely the most newb friendly IMO

Good luck

Here you can check your website in alle browsers very easy:

Notepad.

Wordpress is great for all it's addons and themes. It sounds to me like you're not looking for complex options so no need for Dreamweaver or anyhting. Really, Wordpress should do it for it. I bevlieve there is a paypal plugin to accept orders direct from your site.

A Votre Sante!

With our vast experience in web design and programming, we can confidently recommend the use of Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Flash, Adobe Contribute, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite. They are so easy to use, beware you can get hooked on to them :)
