Hi guys, I just got banned by wordpress and hubpages , 2 days after I did a bit scrapebox blast.

What are the best web 2.0 providers in terms of NOT getting banned?

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean? How did you get banned? Is your IP blocked from the sites? Did you have accounts at the sites which are now closed? How were you using Scrapebox?

A little more info might tell where you went wrong.

Can you just use a new IP? Set up new accounts?

I was using free wordpress and free hubpages. Sure, I can get a new IP and get a new account, but what's the point if I keep making unique content for the pages and they keep getting banned?

I was using scrapebox to blast spun comments to around 5k blogs, the comments were relevant using inurl to search for the blogs.

I hear so many people talking about link wheels and link networks but I can't even get one started :(

Hmm I still dont understand where you are going wrong.

Are you trying to promote your hubpages page using these links?

Are you blasting links back to your hubpage from other hubpages?

Are you performing the blasts using the same IP as the one you created the hubpage with?

Here is the thing, if Hubpages deleted any pages which got a lot of links across the internet, they would destroy their own business. In order for people to be able to find relevant pages on Hubpages, there simply MUST be incoming links.

So, it's not really the fact that you are creating links that is getting you banned.

You need to look at HOW you are going about it. Something you are doing is alerting them that you are a spammer.

Imagine if you had the cure for AIDS. You didn't know how to post it to the world and Hubpages was your only resource.

There would be millions of backlinks built to your hub very quickly and I guarantee Hubpages would not delete the account.

Try to mimick this process...quality content...backlinks from other IP's from a broad variety of sources. The comments would not be spammy but informative and from relevant sites to that subject.

I think no matter what web 2.0 property you try you will have the same result if you don't tweak your method.

It is tempting to just go on "blasting rampage" and that is what the majority of people do so it is easy to detect. Tighten up your methods and as you do, you will find more success.

Wordpress and Hubpages ban people all the time if they think the blogs and hubs are being used for SEO purposes, especially new accounts.

If you make a bunch of "Personal" seeming hubs and blogs that talk about what you had for lunch, your new Camaro, or how much you hate the lottery with no outgoing links, blast the Christ out of them with SB, Xrumer, and a nuclear missile - you probably won't get banned and if you do, it's more than likely because of your content still.

They are close to the two bitchiest WEB 2.0 places out there, if not the 2 most bitchy period.

Anyways, blogger - gather - webspawner - livejournal....

Quoted so you'll all read it again. Very true. And then some.

I've had account disabled at Hubpages but at lots of other places too. In the long run I learned that doing quality work and wording your content in a personal way will help.

You cant just order a bunch of bulk articles and throw them up. It takes five minutes to personalize it a little before you spin it, and your blogs will last much longer.

This is happening more frequently now as Google is devaluing some of these W2.0 sites and not indexing them, take a look at the SERPS, used to have lots of Hubs & Lenses not so much these days.

My Fav is Tumblr & Amplify

I can agree with this. Though it flies in the face of everything Micallef is doing: i.e. just going on dragon naturally speaking , getting a newspaper, reading it and replacing it with your keywords
