Best ways to use a big IG account

What methods do you guys use and how much do you earn?
Do you have to seek brands to advertise for or do they come to you?

I am just quite interested. There are many brands out there, but what they actually pay and how easy it is to do business with them is something im not to knowledgable of.

If you asked me, to make the most money in the long run off an IG account would be to create a micro niche website behind that IG's fanbase, and then market something to them. A lot of products that are being sold online offer affiliate programs (you make a commission off every sale made), so its just up to you to figure out what product you want to try to market. Usually on the products main website you will be able to find an affiliate program, and a lot of times if they don't have one on their main website, if you send them an e-mail and ask them about it, they will be quick to respond.

Other ways to make money from IG accounts:
- doing shout outs for people
- CPA? (cost per action [click, survey, etc])

The long term goal would be your best bet... just do some research around the forum for the next couple weeks and take in as much knowledge as you possibly can
