best ways to sell your valuable ebook ?

I'm finishing writing my ebook...It will be valuable book on travel topics (complete travel info on country on low budget), will have more than 150 pages. Its not some sh... ebook about how to lose weight in one week (maybe eat less junk food? how about that ;] ), how to become forex king or how to become millionaire in 2 weeks... I put a lot of work to that book and want to be rewarded (with $$) for it... so, customers interested in that niche (travel) will get their HQ stuff, while i want to charge for it more than 10-15 $...

What are the best ways to sell it ? amazon ? clickbank (becoming vendor and inviting affiliates ? )

I would be very happy to make more than 50 ebooks sales / month....

It won't sell on amazon unless you sell it for 2.99

It won't sell well on clickbank unless you pay a huge commission, like 75%.

If you want to do all the marketing yourself you can make a better profit than putting it on clickbank. Check out ejunkie.

not possible, i'm not going to sell my ebook that low (amazon)

there are pretty several ways to earn money with your ebook... You can sell it or you can use a Product locker for it and set a minimum payout until it unlocks. This way people will be receiving it for free and you'll be making money too!

you should try promoting by yourself & also by few ads..
you can try fb ads for that !!!

and the best billing solution for promoting it myself would be ?

prefered methods of receiving cash for me: wire transfer or paypal... no f... checks as i'm outside of USA....

You're taking the right first step by marketing it on your own. The problem with selling on sites like amazon etc is they are all impulse buys based on a cover of a book and a short 1 paragraph description of it. It's extremely hard to sell a book at a premium without any trust or relationship with the buyer at all.

What I recommend doing is finding some niche sites related to "traveling on a low budget", then create some incentive based web banners ... For example: "how to travel the world with $20 a day" Free download. Then when they hit your landing page have a short video that tells about your travel experience, how you were able to do it cheap, and how much valuable information you will give them for free if they just sign up to your mailing list, and then a call to action to opt-in to your email list. After they confirm the optin (use a company like aweber.com for this) you can automatically send them to a link to download the "free tips" pdf which ultimately is a way of gaining there trust by GIVING AWAY YOUR BEST INFO for free.

At the end of the PDF have a call to action to purchase your comprehensive ebook/video course which reveals secrets to "x" "y" "z" that cant be found anywhere else. "This information will save you thousands of dollars in travel expenses yadi yadi yadi" ... at this point they should already be overwhelmed with the value they received from the free PDF giveaway and biting at the bit to purchase your high dollar comprehensive product.

What I just explained is a basic concept in internet marketing called a sales funnel. Email marketing, giving away free info, creating a dialog with your audience, and ultimately gaining there trust is the only way to bypass selling your ebook for less than you believe its worth. You may also want to consider building a membership site instead of a 1 off ebook that drip feeds the content in a series of ebooks over a few months. That way you are getting recurring income every month for top secret cheap traveling tips etc ...

would prefer to do nice seo for my ebook and leave it that way...
I will think about specific marketing methods as soon as I finish it ;-)

Don't confuse the price you get per book with the overall profit you make. The overall bottom line is the key not the price per item.

Your income is going to be directly correlated with the amount of work you are willing to put into the project. Travel is one of the most competitive niches to enter so it's not going to be as simple as launching a site and waiting for it to rank, there is going to be A LOT of work to make SEO work for you on this so be prepared to put in some additional sweat equity.

Press releases, guest posting on blogs, and reaching out to your local media will take you a long ways but your branding has to be on point, as well as your motivation.

a friend of mine also wrote an ebook, she put it on amazon and promoted it in forums/communities with similar content than her ebook. probably a lot of work but she sold ebooks (and not just for 2.99)

I also agree with this ... once you get going you will be able to determine a value for every visitor that visits your site. You could sell your book for $97 and still have an average value per visitor of just 25 cents or you could sell it at $10 and have an average value per visitor at $2-3 ... it's all relative. But if you do insist on selling at higher prices it absolutely requires a sales funnel.

Try to giveaway something for free and then sell to those people who already pre-saled with you.

There are tons of ways to promote your ebook, first of all, hire critiques to criticize your ebook.

Give out reviews on related forum and start a BSS/WSO or whatever it's called there.
Promote on Amazon/clickbank, leave no stone unturn.
Use social media like facebook, twitter, YouTube to sell.
Use affiliates
Solo ads
Email marketing if you have your own list or buy targeted and unique list.
Promote on your own site/squeeze page and rank on the search engine, here you will find out it's a full time income and a long one too.
There are tons of ways, try PPC to see if it will work and use your squeeze page.

Have you considered buying your traffic? Adwords and FB are good networks to start with.
