Best way to watermark video?

What's the best (easiest/least expensive) method to watermark vids? Can windows movie maker do this?

I love the watermarking Youtube video ideas. I am not a new user to forums but spent an hour trying to find w*termark factory in the downloads section and couldn't find it.

Thanks I found it. Unfortunately it doesn't work on my Vista machine. It works on my old XP system but unfortunately that thing overheats in 30 minutes.
 
An additional question. What is a good alternative to W*termark Factory?
 
If you are running on Windows, you should have Windows Movie Maker already installed on your machine. You can load a video into it and easily add a watermark and resave it. Only annoyance is though that it doesn't support all types of video - you may have to convert first.
 
is watermarking using other videos to promote affiliate links?....
 
No, it's placing a mark on it to show who owns it, like the little annoying things TV channels do with their logo on the screen. Like I need a freaking reminder I am watching that channel/station.
 
Kase, watermarking could be and is used by many to add your domain name to the video, so that it is always showing while playing. An excellent traffic driving technique, as stated elsewhere in the forum.

use watermark master

i load up like 100 videos, hit a few buttons, go 2 sleep.. wake up and i have 100 fresh videos all watermarked :-)
 
w*termark factory doesn't work very well for me, after a few videos it crashes... i'll try watermark master, thanks khuram for the tip.

in what format do you load up you videos in for watermark master? will it watermark .flv files?
 
I finally got Watermark factory to work but I noticed the version here is a trial?? And has their own logo on the vid. Is there a crack for this that I missed?
 
I just started reading Rucks blog today and he has a great post on everything you need to deal with videos. Well written and no fluff or bullshit.
 
What do you write on the watermark? Simply the domain name with additional info on the description or the entire message for free ringtones and the domain on the watermark?
 
I had downloaded the W*atermark factory. But it seems very slow for adding watermark.

Any tips for speed up the conversion time?
