best way to use multiple domains fo one main site?

I have a site with very similar names, one domain just has an extra "s" in it. What is the best way I can make both of them go to the site? or is that a bad thing for SEO? I can add both domains in my hosting account, would that be good for SEO?

Do a 301 and forward one to the other.
