I'm trying to reboot my internet marketing side hustle.

Financials are a bit tight but I can probably squeeze $100 out of my account without my wife noticing / getting too angry.

What's the best way to deploy this with a decent chance of a return? I'm resistant to spending on content as I think I can probably do that for 'free' (i.e. over a quiet evening), and my instincts point to PBNs, link building, etc.

Any wisdom on what's the best way to get a return?

Give your wife a hug and say that you love her = 100% free.
Save your $100 - not enough to do anything at all.

if you only have 100, you'll blow that just on mistakes especially if your just getting back in. Take that money and go experience something that you'll remember. Don't throw it at the internet...

Research from other peoples mistakes, it'll help save costs. Then again you don't know unless you try

OP ionos.com web hosting offers a good plan for $1/month for the first twelve months with a free domain included. Start a website or blog to ease back into IM.

That's $12 leaving you $88 to spend otherwise. Use some of this on chatgpt to assist you with writing some articles to post. You can easily have $60 or more left after that.

Well let me ask you this, are you looking to make short term gains or Long term gains with the $100?

People are going to give you a bunch of suggestions like getting a domain and hosting but you'll soon realise $100 is not enough today. You either need to spend more time or more money.

Buy an internet course that teaches you how to start business without money

So it seems!

Time is less of a problem than money, and i can do rudimentary python coding to make better use of that time.

I've got a handful of domains, hosting is also taken care of.

The suggestion to spend on OpenAI is probably the sort of steer I'm looking for - I used the free trial to generate some test articles, with mixed results. Some of those are now on a static side, generating impressions, if not visits.

I've also taken a month's sub of answerthepublic with the view of hammering it for long tail terms.

Any similar thoughts or advice still welcome. Niche discovery is probably the area I'm struggling with most.

Take your wife to a nice dinner and then spend your TIME choosing what to do, then research and learn it and make a plan, don't invest until you have a clear plan of action, otherwise you're just asking how to waste your money.

You require at least $500
what reason? For a white truck (500 dollars), some luck, and boundless candy and spray!
You'll work up a plan of action!
Open a sample account, learn how to invest in cryptocurrencies, etc
Following the candy truck, you'll invest in cryptocurrencies.
then....

explode

I don't mean a car crash, it would suck
I mean you will get rich

Good luck! :D (save them and do stuff free so you gather experience first)

Buy a domain for $10 and find cheap hosting the market place for less than $30 a year.
Build a blog(.Use YouTube to figure out things)

But you can go with free options (it takes time to see any results so you have to be patient and hardworking)

Look around fiverr, Upwork and see what others are providing as services and see if you can compete
