Hey all,

I think this might be slightly off topic for this forum, but there seems to be a great deal of relevant information here, with a lot of people having a good amount of knowledge to help me out.

I play an online web based game, and want to use a private proxy service so that I can have two accounts playing simultaneously, which is against the rules. Unethical.. yes, but much more fun.

I want to purchase a private proxy service with a static IP, that I can run on both my home computer and my mobile.

I want to set it up in such a way that chrome uses my regular ISP assigned IP, and firefox will use the proxy ip. I want to do something similar on my Android mobile, using two browsers.

If I screw up and log into an account using the same IP both will be banned.

If anyone can recommend a service that would do this for me, I would be greatly appreciative!

There's a couple of places that will sell a single static IP that you can then use as a proxy. I actually do what you're talking about with Firefox and Chrome. You can leave chrome to the default settings and then for Firefox I use a plug-in called Elite Proxy Switcher that you can literally one-click back and forth between you're IP and your proxy. Yourprivateproxy.com has a single proxy available as do a few others. Feel free to check the Marketplace here and I'm sure you'll be able to find what you need.
