Best Way To Monetize New PR2 Tech Blog ?

Hi everybody.

I recently put together a tech blog (2 months ago) and with the recent PR update, it is PR2. Now, I'm not new to blogging by any means, and I know how to make money from CPM and paid posting, but this is my first self-hosted blog that actually has PR, and I'm thinking about just selling it outright. Honestly, I have quite a few manually updated blogs, and my hands are full.

I'm not linking to it, as that could be seen as spamming or a traffic tactic. Besides, it's just a WP blog with a technology/gadget theme. Nothing you can't imagine, really.

So, my questions:

Should I Sell it, or would I be better off using it for paid posts?

Should I do both? Use it for paid posts for a month or two, then sell it? (This option is particularly evil, since the PR is bound to be stripped away in the next PR update)

Would I be better off selling it at DP or eBay?

How much should I be asking for it?

My opinion is that you should monetize it with AdSense and WidgetBucks. I used WidgetBucks a year or so back, they pay well for clicks and their ads have a high CTR. If you are too busy to write, outsource some articles or just set it up as an autoblog. You could do paid posts as well if you'd like. It wouldn't hurt to buy some backlinks either. Doing this should let you maintain your PR and turn your blog into a small steady income you can leave on autopilot until you need more articles. If it's earning well you could sell it off for a nice price.

Sad to see such low response on this one... I'm guessing that people thought it was another "how can I make money" thread and ignored it.

I'm registering the site with PPP and pu2b, assuming PR will drop to 0 by next PR update. I'll just make another to replace it. Maybe two.

Autoblogs don't seem to be earning me any real dough, though I've only got 20 of them. If they actually made me $1 a day each, I'd be a happy man. They rarely make me a few pennies combined on a good day, while my sweat and blood ventures bring at least some money.

I think you should use adsense and commission junction. CJ has vendors like Dell computers that would fit good with your niche.
