Best Way to Monetize Indian Traffic (Passively???)

I have a PHPLD link directory, and it gets tons of Indian submitter traffic (they mostly submit using American email addresses, I assume). That said, I don't really make much off of promoting Digsby IM, so I was wondering if there was a good way to make money off of it.

I've tried popup DHTML iframes, banners, adsense, etc, but I really haven't gotten much out of it.

Problem is the Indians doing this are usually submitting and being paid for it, I doubt they'll go for sex/dating.
 
Nevermind bad idea. I thought I saw some good cpa offers at my account for them.
 
If the former British Empire couldn't make it work, I don't know how far you're gonna get.

There was a feature story on CNBC last month about Indian billionaires; one of them got mega-rich by selling hair dye for the equivalent of $.10 per packet. That's the level of discretionary income you're working with.

How about starting an outsource job board, where you charge people $1/month to advertise or some such. Then put adsense ads on that as well?

Or a blackhatcodebreaker site that uses email submits (since you say they're using emails)?

Or sell the domain on DP or ebay 'HUGE TRAFFIC SITE with enormous potential!!!' - go nuts with the hype.

It guess that too be Godrej Hair Dye!
Well for you information. His family was among the first Industrialists of India.
Yes he still sells those $0.10 things, but that is not what made him a billionaire, he has electrical appliances, digital appliances, furniture, Interior Decorating, Fabric Manufacturing Comapany, Security Systems and as far as i know he has even started pest control in the metro cities of India......

As far as the news is concerned, they shoot up anything:D

Edit: The Dye Now costs $0.14. LOL! No I don't Use it,

If he has the pest control contract for the metropolitan areas of India, he is on the fast track to be the first trillionaire!

On the other hand, perhaps he can't exterminate the rats for fear of offending Ganesha. :D
