Find a marketing technique that you are comforatble with like YouTube, Google Ads, Facebook Ads etc and look for methods people had success with, it is a lot easier that way.

Not really. It's the hardest way to make your first money online unless you're spamming parasites, but that's not SEO. That's spam and anything with traffic can be spammed. So you could say spam is the way to go.

Any word of mouth strategy should get you customers if you do it properly. That's just not the case with SEO that takes months to even begin with.

You can make 1000 YouTube videos and use ada later. You'd have to think own website SEO is superior to using YouTube or social media.

Search engine optimization is literally optimization. Not the same, but if you understand LTV at the most basic level, you can invest in long term relationships with ads instead of quick cash and still be quick.
Paid ads is also a great way. However, SEO is still a multi billion industry and , in fact, it has given many people around the globe an steady full-time online income.

I mean yes it's a communication channel, you can say tiktok content, instagram content, telegram content, youtube content has also given a steady full time online income to people...

You are right that you can collect data on your website with SEO, it's a matter of preference... personally I like the "pay to play" mentality that I see marketers in my team having. We still do SEO but spend a lot less time on it than before.
