Best Way To Host 50 Sites

Trying to find a scalable way to host many sites, without the trouble of buying 10 shared hosting. I heard you can use dedicated OR VPS
to host a lot of sites, VPS seems like a great way to go, but can anyone care to share how they host 50 sites easily?!

cPanel.

If you are going to use the sites for SEO purposes, though, you may want to spread them out over more than one IP or subnet.
 
Seems simple right :

VPS or Dedicated --> add on domains - upload the sites

or get fantistico or the other one to install WP and other software stuff easily if your starting from scratch.

So you just manage all that from CPANEL

Additionally you normally get multiple IP's so you can create multiple accounts and allocate an IP per account.

I know it sounds bit of a pain the first time doing it and it is - but its not difficult once you done it a few times.
(I'm sure there are more knowledgeable people than me when it comes to webhosting)
 
you could do class c ip's with seo hosting... ten class c's runs like 50 bucks a month, but you should be able to run 5 sites on each ip without any trouble from google.

Hosting them all on the same IP, if they're from the same niche, probably isn't a good idea.
 
Once i was hosting around 300 sites on a VPS. I simply purchased 30 extra IPs and created 30 accounts in Cpanel allocating 1 ip per account. Then simply in each account i added 10 sites. Thats it. Didn't take me more than few hours to set up, so it wasn't bad or time wasting.

For 50 sites like you, it would be no more then 1 hour total of setup..

Okay it seems VPS and Dedicated are the best choices! How many urls do you place on an IP?

Also does know of a VPS that can host sites, and run programs at same time for $50+/month. Thanks!!

I am using BurstNet VPSes for years and i am more than happy. They are pretty affordable, check them out

at Burstnet, i am paying 5 bucks for 13 usable IPs, the lowest option as long as i remember now is $3.5 bucks for 7 or 8 ips..

get a reseller with hostgator.
i use them and i host about 60 sites.
