Best way to get listed in DMOZ?

Another trick is to submit your site to a regional category. Those are the categories where DMOZ sends new volunteers to burn them out.

So, if your site is about plumbing and you happen to be located in Poughkeepsie, submit to the Poughkeepsie category instead of the plumbing category for a quick approval.

Long time ago I heard if you submit ur url to the directory under different unique ip's it will get listed faster..also u can just pay for the same kind of link juice and authority with yahoo's directory by just paying $199 a year... I seenn lots oF sites can go up in the serps faast with a boat load of yahoo directory links...

Unique IPs will not make it be approved faster but the submission form does log your IP address.

I've got one or two sites in the DMOZ. Others I have submitted time and again in different subcats only to never see anything from them.

If it's competitive, like gambling for example, GOOD LUCK!

And it will take a while for DMOZ to review / accept / deny your site. from a couple weeks to a couple months, i'd say.

Try to inject your links in big authority niche-related wiki sites. =) I get 100% Autopilot traffic from a niche-related wiki site (in 2500 alexa) sending me nice xx visitors daily resulting in a CB sale every few days.

Can you please explain in details what "authority niche-related wiki sites" means? Can you provide 1-2 exmples of it? It will be really helpful to undertstand it.

DMOZ has reached to a point where they won't approve even DMOZ to be listed :)

I'd love to get listed just to do something that the 2 competitor sites that are following my every move cant!
