Best way to get follow sources and Monetization question

I currently have a meme account I am wanting to grow through botting but do not know how to get the best sources. I know I need to have a decent amount of sources as well. Any advice is much appreciated. Also there are some current monetization methods going around and people are getting banned. Is that because they have the link in their bio, or is it for other reasons.

If you want to monetize I'd highly recommend against meme accounts. Look into things like fashion, makeup and skincare. These all monetize insanely well. Travel and babes for easy growth on the way up and they still monetize decently on the backend.
