If I were you I would just go to the services section and order from someone reputable and with good feedback there, instead of wasting time trying to figure everything out on my own, as this time can be much better spent on making the site itself better. There are many good SEO services out there that are very reasonably priced.

Made a competition, I didn't know b4 on your blog, but if you can offer something to people how read it, maybe something like premium consulting for SM, or something. You make competition, write post about giving away for best blog post, where people can write how they learn from your blog about SM, or something like that. For best 3 post you can give free consulting or something.
But notice they need to put one link to your website IN POST, post need to be minimum 350 words, on any language, its really good link from blog post, it will help you a lot.
Or you can also write some PR text on others SM blogs, portals, where you will put link. You can find to be author somewhere or you just write that post, it needs to be good one, strong post, not spam, and then make good list of SM blogs, use their e-mails, then send mass email, use Mailchimp.
