    Hi,

Until recently I have been on the downloading end of torrents.
I have recently begun uploading ebooks but have really low upload rates. I've heard that forwarding ports is a good way of increasing upload rates. I have gotten some instructions on how to do it but they havent worked. Is there any software that just does this for you??

Enable UPnP on your router and/or firewall software and use a client like uTorrent which supports UPnP. It will automatically open the TCP ports it needs in order to upload. I get full upload speeds when I am seeding torrents. You also need to disable the upload ratio and limit, or uTorrent will stop seeding once you hit that share limit.
