Best way to approach a long tail keyword.

I have approximately 4-5 months to place a long tail keyword on the first page of google.

Why time is crucial?
Because its a product that will just sell during the summer.

Who is on first page right now?
Wayfair
Amazon
Home Depot
Walmart
cosco
Pinterest

In that order, you might say well those are big guys but keep in mind this guys don't sell the product and actually not even similar. When you type on google it gives you the suggestion this means people have already look for it but in reality they don't sell it.

For obvious reason I can't say the keyword. How would you approach this?

I'd stick a page up, optimizing for your keyword, see how it does in the first week, and go from there...

If google thinks that Amazon's page has the same intention as yours, you ain't outranking it.

Unfortunately google is not perfect, so you gotta stick a page up, see if google recognises yours is the better search intent, and if not, then dont bother. Take your authority into account though.

Backlinks take an average of 10 weeks for power, so just stick a page up, if it gets page 2 in a week, send some backlinks.

You're not likely to make much headway with only one long tail keyword. Find more and build articles on them too.

Write articles answering what people searching for.

Try targeting high buyer intent keywords to get more sales too.
