I do use proxies for everything.. I harvest a few thousand SB proxies every day, I don't do much on my server without proxies except for maybe browsing the web. (I'm posting from it now. )

The trick is this:

Sign up for a free O/S, something like Linux Ubunti Desktop/Server. Then get yourself a Dell OEM key for Server 2008 (26Y2H-YTJY6-CYD4F-DMB6V-KXFCQ), go into your OVH control panel and set that as your Windows license. You'll now be able to install Windows Server 2008 R2.

Otherwise it's like $30/mo for a Windows license or some nonsense.
