I'm currently working on recording a bunch of SEO tutorials for our company. It's not going to be something truly exciting ( I mean no FX flames, difficult animation and so on), but I decided to use Davinchi Resolve as a tool for cutting video, adjusting voice and so on. As I understand it's also FX tool inside, but I'm only exploring the functionality and it's quite intuitive. If you are also working with screencasts, I would recommend screencast-o-matic, they have not too expensive subscription, but it allows adding some effects (bluring, adding images, titles and so on) on your recording. That's my combination as for newbie lvl: Davinchi Resolve + Screencast-o-matic. Glad to follow this thread, maybe somebody will tell any additional info or guides on Resolve.
