Best use case for unneeded domains

churn and burn... throw a few 1000s AI-generated articles on long tails without search volume, on them, and then blast them with millions of backlinks until they either rank, or tank. Of course, you also want to monetize them before they tank

if you have the right tools (an AI writer + one of Senuke X / GSA / RankerX / Xrummer) it's just a matter of automating it...
Or maybe use autoblogging plugins to scrape and autopost to your site the exact same content that the top sites in your niche have. Since this is churn & burn you don't care what happens to your domains, but if you manage to rank even 10-20% of them for a few months and get a few million visitors then you can redirect that traffic to some good CPA offer... or build your list, or redirect them to lead capture pages or whatever, and you will have gotten the best out of your dying domains. I've not done any of these before either, but I don't see where the hard work could possibly come in. But if you have something to share, please do so! I'm eager to listen and learn

How do people know what to aim to rank for? How do they know what product will be the next trend to work on ranking for that tool?

oh, yeah, keyword research definitely takes work, but you will have to do it anyway, which is why I didn't consider it in my reply. Although... if I think better, it might still not be as much work as in normal SEO because you just scrape a list of long tails (which honestly just takes a software like Scrapebox or any keyword tool running for a few hours and you're done!)
Anyway, if you have the right tools go for churn & burn, OP! I really don't see a better use for those domains...
