Best TV Series to Watch?

Black Books, IT Crowd, Father Ted, Red Dwarf, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Big Love, Battlestar Galactica (old or new) and Caprica, Doctor Who Red Green, Robocop the 1994 TV series, Smallville (it gets better after the first couple of seasons), Sliders (it gets bad towards the last couple of seasons), The B&W outer Limits, V (the original series, the new kinda ended on a terrible cliffhanger), 6 Million Dollar Man (actually holds up really well, only thing unbelievable is how no one recognizes him considering he's a famous astronaut that walked on the moon)

I've started watching Prison Break and can't take my eyes off of it. Have watched nearly two seasons in just over a week! Addicted.
 
Ok so after this I've taken some suggestions of which of the shows I wanted to watch first and have started them.

- Mad Men
- The Newsroom

I have to say, Aaron Sorkin was becoming one writer who I loved to follow and after watching the first episode of The Newsroom, he is definitely now my favourite writer of all time. The first episode of 'The Newsroom' was the best written show I've seen in my life. Get on it.

Nikita (good show prefer original TV Series though)

Grimm (Fringe is better though)
Royal Pains
Modern Family
The Middle
Continuum (pretty good sci-fi cop show)
Touch (good show but BAAAD scripts)
Breakout Kings (a guilty pleasure)

Some one said Firefly, there's also Farscape. We need some good old sci-fi soon, none of this "it needs a cop otherwise people won't watch it." I'd rather watch if it didn't have a freaking cop. If you watch the original V - The Visitors have annoying voices in the mini-series which is gratefully removed in the full series worthwhile watching for Freddy Kruger lol. Don't bother with the remake it's all dodgy CG and teen angst.

You could try Sinbad and Bedlam both UK TV shows. One's sorta action the other more of a mild horror.

When it comes to TV shows to watch you'll get lost. The US TV season starts at the end of this month as well so if you use torrents keep an eye out for new shows. I've not found anything decent yet from the shorter seasons this year.

I love Penn & Teller's Bullshit

White Collar is a really good show too. Though the product placement in it is hilarious.
 
Continuum is a an amazing, very slick, smart series. They spent so much money I hope they can afford a second season.

currently im watching Breaking Bad and Suits, great ones! Also i recommend some older ones like Rome or The Tudors
 
Supernatural is pretty awesome too, at my 6th season now :D

You already named 2 of the only 3 shows I watch religiously (Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad, can't miss a second of them!) The other is Once Upon A Time. It's not as bad as it sounds, promise.
