I vote for .UK if you are targeting a local visitor.

".co.uk" is the standard TLD for the UK. ".uk" is much more recent and as far as I know doesn't hold the same weight yet.

Co.uk is parked, so having to consider whether it’s worth chasing over the other ttlds.
