Best Tools for Preventing Google Ads Suspensions?

I’ve been running Google Ads for a while, but I recently had an account suspended, likely due to bot traffic or policy violations. I came across a few solutions like just cloakit, Trafficshield, adspect etc. that claim to protect ad accounts by filtering bad traffic. Has anyone here used such tools? Any recommendations?

Tools like Adspect, Traffic Shield, and similar “cloakers” can filter bots, but they also sit in a gray zone — and misuse can trigger even faster Google Ads suspensions. Click-fraud tools (like Click GUARD) are safer because they block bad clicks without cloaking.
Best practical approach:
Use click-fraud protection + Cloudflare bot filtering first (safe, policy-aligned).
Only test cloakers if you fully understand the risks, because Google bans accounts for cloaking itself, not just bad traffic.

Yeah, TrafficShield has been solid for me so far. It does a good job filtering out bots, junk clicks, and the usual low-quality traffic. The stats match up with what I’m seeing on my campaigns, so from a protection/traffic-quality angle, it’s definitely doing what it claims.

I experienced a similar issue recently, and it turned out that invalid or low-quality traffic was eating up my ad spend and triggering automated reviews. I tested a few traffic-protection solutions like TrafficShield and some other bot-filtering tools. Their results vary—some focus on real-time blocking while others analyze traffic after the fact. Trying a few options should help you figure out which setup works best for keeping your campaigns clean and compliant.
 
It's not possible to prevent fake clicks with these tools, because today's fake click bots actually behave like humans, and filtering them out isn't easy. Instead, you can try showing ads only to mobile users through the demographics section, or only to users with a Google account.
You can restrict the IP addresses from which attacks are most common through the Google Ads interface. Or, you can directly block the country/city from which attacks are most common.
While not a complete solution, this would be a good example.
 
Tools designed for cloaking or heavy filtering often create more problems than they solve and can actually increase the risk of Google Ads suspensions. For safer long-term setups, it’s better to use compliant click-fraud and invalid-traffic protection tools like ClickGUARD or TrafficGuard, which focus on improving traffic quality without triggering policy issues.
