Best tool to check website's traffic?

I would say semrush too, works great with numerous useful features.

I tried all of those services and they are crap and don't even come close.
You can't guess the traffic just because of some rankings and such... I can drive thousands of visitors from PPC and none of those services will pick it up (alexa will but it's much more complicated).
I, personally, think that Alexa is OK if it's not manipulated as it gives you some sort of an idea.

Another vote for SEMrush because we use it meanwhile note that you'll get the traffic details of your competitors only if there domain is old enough to have a traffic record at least 3 months old and what you'll see in SEMrush is not real time traffic data but traffic data from history.
