You can try the tool called SEMRush, Majestic which works fine for me till now.

I will prefer the killer tools Ahrefs and sometimes use SEMrush and Moz and majestic.

I think Ahrefs is one of the best tool for checking competitor's backlinks. From this tool you can get good result which you want.

The best crawling almost everything is AHREFS. It saves alot
