Similarweb is useless. I use it as a free tool to check an average traffic.

Ahrefs would do the job. If you can afford it then Ahrefs + SEMrush.

It depends exactly what you want to do http://www.ahrefs.com to make the link analysis, http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html Xenu to analyze your own links and see if you have any broken ones, http://www.linksspy.com to verify the backlinks from your competitors and automate the email follow up process to get them as well.

SEO Spyglass. It has very similar results to the others in terms of the links it reports, and you don't have restrictions on the number of sites or links it pulls. It also has its own authority metric. I have an Ahrefs sub and use Majestic's free service now and then. SEO Spyglass is almost as good, and a whole lot cheaper.
If you want super accurate then Ahrefs. If you have a ton of competition to analyse then Spyglass
