Best Tier 2 Service

Bumping for results too. Did you see any SERP move ?

Hi Guys,

I chose 1 month drip on all packages to try and keep everything as similar as possible. Give me another 25+ days and I'll come back with the results ;-)

XH

I used service 3 a few times a while back for Tier 2. Very good service for the price and very easy to deal with. I will use again in the future.

"Essential pumpers" is also a good one. Very legit web 2.0 type link building with great tiers.

Thanks for the tip Biznik. I have almost completed the 30 day drip on my 4 test groups and will be looking to analyze the results shortly.

Yes generating maximum links with long tail keywords can also be helpful.

Hey OP,

For tier 2 you will want to shift focus to quantity rather then quality.

Look for services that offer mass links such as 10,000 blogs comments, wikis etc.

You should be able to find some cheap tier 2 services on fiverr and even here on bhw

Appreciate the suggestion - could you recommend a specific service? I'm looking for people making exact recommendations based on what's working for them :-)

Hi Guys,

I have a question for you guys. What is going to be the *best* way to determine how good, effective, quality the Tier 2 campaigns I setup were?

For those of you just dropping in on this thread, I've divided 100 Web 2.0's into 4 groups and ordered a Tier 2 service from BHW for each one. The services ordered for each tier are different, and now I want to compare results.

My ideas for measuring Tier 2 effectiveness are these...

1) Since all 4 groups got the same keywords, I could search for those keywords and see when a web 2.0 came up. The note the group it was from and see which link package boosted the rankings for that set most.
2) I could go with artificial metrics... Moz, Ahrefs, Majestic. Downside of this is it doesn't really have much to do with ranking...

Wondering if you guys could weigh in on this to help me out with how I should best do this.

So just to update this for people. I started doing a little bit of analyzing on these Tier 2 packages. Before I go further I will say this. It is something like 35 days after I purchased them all. That means the 30 day drips *just* finished. I believe one of this wasn't drippable. So the results of these could totally change. Here's how I am analyzing...

1) Search exact match of they keyword phrase I sent to them.
2) Find the first web 2.0 property of mine.
3) Record which test group of mine it is from, along with ranking, and any other Web 2.0 property of mine on the same page.
4) Repeat.

The thing that is awesome is I *don't* have a lot of these keywords in the actual text on this page - meaning if these pages show up, it's because of the Tier 2 links - not because of on page. So far the results are pretty encouraging. I've gotten #4, 5, 6 locked down on one keyword and all 3 of them don't have the text on the page. All 3 however do have 2/3 keywords in the URL. That keyword is 650k+ exact match competition. All properties were from one test group. Ironically one of my money sites is already in #1 so not sure why I'm targeting this but w/e.

Anyway - love to hear your guys thoughts here. I'm pretty excited.

Nice review. Really nice of you to come and post.

Should the keywords you give them to target be your money site keyword?
As the tier 2 will push the link juice to Tier 1
So if you search the exact match of that keyword, Should your money site rank first?
Unless you give different type of keyword.

Btw, I also planning to get tier 2 links also.
But i am thinking which link should i them to ?
My guest post? Pdf site? Private Network? Or just web 2.0 ?

what a complete study, kudos to you man! following this post since Jan and really thrive you had out smart G ! You could even get stronger position by fine-tuning the on-page like kw density. great share, thanks.

Of the 5 services you listed in the OP, which are giving you the best bang for the buck?

Are you referring to these Web 2.0's as the first tier that is linking to your money site, or are these Web 2.0's meant to be the money site?

Thanks

OK before I get too excited I found something out. Apparently one of these services DIDN'T drip the link. That means these results are going to be biased towards one of the services. It seems to me that in order for this to be a fair comparison, I'm going to have to wait 1 month after the drips are done on the 3 packages to compare to the 1 package today. That make sense? So another month before I release any kind of formal results :-)

The Web 2.0's are going to be part of my Tier 1. This test is about making the second tier of links using BHW services. My money site is (at the moment) not even linked to from these Tier 1 properties.

Of the 5 services you listed in the OP, which are giving you the best bang for the buck?

I'm going to be figuring that out shortly. IF you check at the beginning of this post, you will see that I found out one of the services DIDN'T drip my links. Meaning one service had the links sitting out there for over a month while the other services are just finishing linking. I'm going to wait 1 month for the dripped links to kick in, to compare to the non dripped service (as it stands today). After that I will be happy to release the info on what I think is best.

I deliberately haven't touched onpage so far. While I totally agree with you I could so tune my results for better position by hitting the onpage, I also think that would hide the effect of the links I'm throwing at these web 2.0's. If I'm ranking using amazing onpage which differs from property to property then I can't isolate the effect of the links. It seems to me that by keeping it strictly to links for ranking for those keywords I have a better shot at understanding which ones are better.

I'm no expert. I'm learning. If you check my past posts I've stated that I'm just getting back into SEO after literally 7 years out of the game. I don't know the answers to your questions. However, I can tell you a theory I'm working with and what I'm trying to test.

What I'm trying to test is simple. Which package of links from here on BHW is best for Tier 2, as in value for your dollar. I kept all link packages as close together as possible in cost, now I want to compare results. The most important results I want to check is the SERPs obviously. After that I may analyze secondary metrics (seomoz, etc). Those may be limited by the accounts I can afford (hint. not ahrefs). That's what I'm trying to test.

As far as the keywords go my plan is to do this.

1) Link all my Tier 1 Web 2.0's using the keywords I want my money site to rank with. This should tell Google very clearly what my Web 2.0's are about.
2) Link my Tier 1's to my money site using naked urls and generic anchors. Why? First reason is from user PHPBuilt - if I link my web 2.0's with naked urls, it gives me a low exact match anchor ratio. Which means the high value links from PBN can be exact match, and still come in at a puny percentage. There's another reason but I'm not going to share it until I test it out.

As far as which links you should send the Tier 2's to - I'd be careful with anything valuable. My Tier 1's are going on autopilot. They cost me nothing at the moment. I can experiment with them. If I need to, I can make more. Not so with guest posts, PBN, etc. Those are harder to replace.

That's my $0.02 anyways.

Cheers

XH

P.S. I found a gig on Fiverr that will run 25 urls through ahrefs for $5. I'm going to run it for each group to compare that way as well.
