Best tablet?

After reading the new york times article on how apple exploits its store workers and under compensates them, the thought of getting an ipad is a bit sickening. On the other hand, nothing else seems to be as good. I just got the google nexus 7 and am not happy (I'm in europe and can't even access the google play>movie>rentals). What would you buy?

I got the Xoom, it's pretty awesome except i don't use him much..
 
I bought the Nexus 7 for my 11yr old son for his birthday... he was thrilled and it looks great to me. Neither of us has played with a 10" tablet so this one is nice for us.
 
It might be worth it to wait for the Microsoft Surface

Get the Asus Transformer Infinity (tf700) best non-ipad in the market right now. I got it and it is awesome. This is my first android device.
 
I personally don't own a tablet yet but I've heard a lot of good things about Asus eee pad Transformer Prime.
 
The movie rentals dont work because you need to be in USA ( copyright or something )

It is the same for Ipad
 
I got an iPad and my partner has a galaxy tab 2....and he likes my ipad more than his tab :d
 
I wanted to buy cheap china epad, but now I really want iPad 1, but it's too expensive for me :(
 
Just wait for a month.Its expected that iPad Mini will be launched on September 12.

BTW,if you want a 9"~10" tablet,go for iPad.There's no competition to apps which it has.
 
I had an Asus EEE and its a great tablet but I needed 3g so brought an Ipad, you really can't beat it either, its really well built (must be the kids little fingers managing to put it together quite tight)
 
I have the similar question for Indian friends..I do came for holidays to india now..I wanna buy a tablet ..
please recommend me a cheapest tablet..
 
Ooh - Mind leaving a link to the article please - Ive got a couple of Ipad 2's - and am waiting for the new iphone then might even move to apple systems in office too -

I really like them and honestly havent found the need to even look elsewhere - I would love to read the article you read -

i will go for the 10 inch version of googles nexus :-) android all the way. i just cant work with an ipad.
