Best tablet under $200?

So right now im using an ipod touch 4g but most apps now require IOS 7 so i need to upgrade i was thinking on upgrading to Ipod touch 5g but i think an android tablet would be better. Can somebody recommend something under $200?
I only use my itouch for instant notifications, reply to messages and other small stuff....

i'm using the LG G-Pad 8.0 4G LTE model, i got it for free from my carrier with contract, the price is around $200 for this 4G LTE version
it's pretty good, i didn't have any problem with it so far, but i haven't used any other tablet before, so i don't really have anything to compare it to, maybe some Chinese models have better hardware for the same price

i dont need a contract i just need something reliable with an internet connection and access to android or ios apps.
