reddit can send crazy traffic but it’s not 2018 anymore. it’s strict because people abused it for years. if you go in with a “warm up then drop links” mindset, you’ll probably get shadowbanned sooner or later.
what you’re doing now, just commenting and actually helping for a month, is the right move. most people are too impatient and that’s why they fail there.
the big thing with reddit is you can’t look like you’re there to sell. your account needs to look like a normal person with mixed interests. comment in other subs too, not just ones related to proxies. build real karma, not low effort fluff.
also your niche is sensitive. residential proxies immediately trigger thoughts of scraping, bypassing limits, etc. mods are extra strict around that. positioning matters a lot. if it sounds like you’re helping people dodge restrictions, you’re done. if it sounds like privacy, research, ad verification, that’s safer.
the traffic is there, but it’s a slow burn. the people who win on reddit usually build authority in a few subs and let curiosity bring profile clicks instead of spamming links.
if you treat it like a community first and a funnel second, it can work really well. if you treat it like a traffic hack, it usually ends badly.
