Best strategy for starting a clothing brand?

I am wondering if social media would be best place to start when considering commencement of a clothing brand

jumpers, oversized jumpers. Anyone have any recommendation for starting strategy on growing a brand from base 0, whether to use social media, blog post, google ad. Just curious to know what people on here think.

If incorrect place apologie please dont hesitate to delete i dont want cause discontent.

Was thinking about doing a drop based brand limited supply drops

My first advice would be to have money to invest on it. If you have the initial investment, don't pay for google ads, pay influencers and send them free stuff.

My second advice, would be to have money. Mockups tend to be awful so get ready to get some models and a photographer.

My third advice, would be to have money to get good designers for your products, as most social media brands are shite, with copy paste memes on basic t shirts.

So, have money.

Just create a marketplace section on FB and other social media to promote your brand
Then list your product on Amazon or Flipkart or any other big websites with the lowest price
Create and update your website with the same price as you mention on Flipkart
